Here's the beginnings of the sock pattern I mentioned in my last post. It features one cable panel on the front and a cute little seam down the back. I really dig the seam and it looks exactly how I pictured it in my head (that never happens). I'm knitting the sample out of my Fission yarn (80% Merino, 20% Bamboo) and I really like the way it knits up. It's not bulky and the fabric feels kinda light and airy.
The cable isn't very daunting and I think it makes for a nice clean pattern. I wanted to avoid it looking too busy.
I'm hoping to have this pattern available the beginning of June on Etsy with hopes of having it available on Ravelry as well.
And by the way, there isn't a damn thing on TV this afternoon.

I love socks patterned like that--kinda fancy, yet plain enough to show off the color of the yarn beautifully.
