So since October....

Yeah, October.  My poor neglected blog.  I suppose that this would be the point where I promise to blog more in 2009 and all that, but I just can't make those kinds of promises.

But I figure that since today is my first official day of maternity leave (even though this baby STILL has yet to show herself) what better way to celebrate it than with a new blog post.

So the burning question is....what have I been up to since October?

1. I started a new awesome job!  And honestly I work with an awesome group of people which is such a breath of fresh air after my last job.

2. Getting ready for baby.  We've been caught in a whirlwind of baby furniture, clothes, diapers and just plain trying to figure everything out.

3. Holidays.  'Nuff said.

4. Learning how to use my new camera.  I got a Canon DRebel Xs after Thanksgiving and I've been playing with it ever since.  Tomorrow I plan on posting some pictures of the nursery, yarn, and projects that I've been working on.

5. Attempting to finish up some knitting projects that have been lying around for entirely too long.  I've got 1 1/2 sleeves left on my Titicaca sweater (pattern by Mirasol) and hopefully just 1 sleeve by the end of today.

So here's to 2009 (only 20 days late) and all that it has in store!  Now I'm going to go spend some time catching up on all the blogs I've neglected reading...
