My little girl is two weeks old today. How the hell did that happen so fast? I swear it was just last week that we found out we were going to have a baby, but that was damn near a year ago. Geez, time flies when you're having fun, right?
It's been a lot of fun though and now we have a beautiful daughter that we're completely smitten with (who is sleeping right now giving me the time to do this blog). And you know what the funniest thing is, I didn't knit (or crochet) one thing for her. Not one damn thing. Well...I do have a sweater in progress but it's so big that she can probably wear it next winter. Had you asked me a year ago I'd have told you that when I got pregnant I'd turn into a baby knitting machine. Yeah, not so much. But that's okay, I've still got time.
Ruh-roh, someone's up....so I'll end todays post with our first family photo.
And time just keeps going faster and faster. Mine just turned 7 weeks the day before last. Sigh.
I only knit him one sweater--don't feel bad! Ha ha!

I've read that when you have a baby, you end up knitting stuff for your grandchildren, because that's how long it takes to finish a project. Hmm...
