Well dear, maybe you should ask for the barn as well (or maybe an ark).

Me:  "Molly, what would you like Santa to bring you for Christmas?"

**at this point I'm warning you that if you have to pee, you should do it now.  That also goes for smokes, beer, snacks, whatever...**

Molly: "Hmmmm....................I want...............(deep breath)

Puppies and kitties and lions and tigers and dolphins and seals and fish and cows and horses and elephants, not just big elephants but little ones too, and I want squirrels and mice and a hamster and birds, black ones and green ones, those red ones are pretty too, and I want a zebra and a giraffe and a monkey....."

Me:  "You forgot something"

Molly: "what?"

Me: "A barn."

 

Because all my best ideas hit while washing the dishes....

I'm not real sure why that is.  Perhaps it's because that's the only 15 minutes I get a day where I find myself competely and utterly alone with my thoughts.  Most days I think I'm too exhausted to think, but last night I realized that I wanted to try resurrecting this blog (again).  

So here we are.

Again.

This time I decided that I needed to do things a little differently.  New look, new name.  The name comes from one of my favorite pictures of Molly (with a BIG shoutout to Bez, who actually called her Baby Jackie O).  The look, well, what can I say?  I closed my eyes and pointed my mouse at one of the many themes in Typepad's design bank.  I may be a lot of things but artistic is not one of them.

So here we are, Juicebox Jackie O.  May this resurrection be more successful than the last 3.  Otherwise I'll just delete the damn thing.
