Take a deep breath, now let it out. The holidays are over, the new year has begun and we can all go back to the seven circles of hell we like to call work. I made a resolution a couple of years ago not to make any more new years' resolutions (in my opinion, it's just setting myself up for failure), and I've actually stuck to it.
However, I was thinking of doing one of those Project 366 things but as you can tell it's now the 3rd and I haven't started. So maybe I'll make it project 52 and just try to post a photo of our life once a week. Today's is a good one (I apologize for any my FB peeps because you've already seen this one).
But first, a little back story. A few months back Molly came to me while I was cooking dinner and told me she wanted to go ride her bike. Bike?
Me: Sorry honey you don't have a bike
Molly: Yes I do! It's pink with a pink helmet and it's in the garage.
Me: I can assure you there is no pink bike in the garage.
Molly: YES THERE IS! AND I'M GOING TO GO RIDE IT!
Me: Ummmm.....okay? But maybe tomorrow? (hoping that she would forget whatever was in the most excellent dream she surely had the night before)
That doesn't happen. Every now and then this bike comes up, along with the camera that her Papaw got her (huh? where did that one come from) and the fact that she needs to go to work. (Well, she is two. I think it's time she started pulling her own weight.)
Fast forward to Christmas, actually 3 days after Christmas, because apparently Santa makes appearances at everyone's house we travel to and then her own when we aren't there. Don't ask.
This is what's waiting for her under the tree. Which is quite possibly the most badass tricycle ever made.
This is my little hellion on her new speed machine. The Hello Kitty helmet really completes the look don't you think? According to her, she's a "rockstar". I want to tell her that she's not a rockstar, she's a badass but then I'd have her running around saying that.
Happy New Year! From my rockstar family to yours!
Cute! Wish I could have seen you while I was in town, but I'm glad to see a post instead! (And did Papaw get her a camera, to go with the badass bike???)

One of these days I'll actually be in town when you're here and not trekking across Texas! There's still no camera and I really wish I knew where she came up with this stuff. :)
